What it does
- Time, one day at a time. Hours or a fixed amount, by matter, with the month's calendar beside the day.
- Expenses with the receipt attached, paid by the firm or by a person who is owed the money.
- Invoices as PDFs. Draft an invoice for a period, edit it line by line, finalize it, mark it sent, void and replace it.
- Payments and balances. Record a payment across several invoices, write off what will not come, apply credit, close a month.
- Reports. Time and expenses by client and matter, invoices paid and unpaid and how long the unpaid have waited, payments received.
- People and rates. Invite colleagues, set base rates by date, override them by client or matter, choose the billing increment hours are typed in.
What it costs
Free for six months after your firm signs up, and no credit card is needed. Planned pricing after that: $10 to $20 a month for the first user and $5 to $10 a month for each additional user; those numbers can change. We email the firm owner at least 30 days before anything is charged.
Your firm's data is its own: every request is tied to the firm that is signed in, and passwords are stored only as hashes. The Privacy Policy says exactly what is kept.
